IS&T will be updating the SHU blogs service to the latest version of WordPress on Saturday 7 November. This upgrade is to improve functionality and security and ensure that the service remains fully supported by WordPress.
The main features are:
- Improved media management
- Improved visual editor
- Improved accessibility
- Improved management of themes, widgets and menus
- A new default theme
We are planning on performing this upgrade between 9am-1pm. We have done our best to reduce any impact on the service but anything on blogs.shu.ac.uk will be unavailable for about 2 hours while we do the work.
