Win tickets to Off the Shelf (now closed)

Off the Shelf has grown into one of the largest literary festivals in the UK, attracting some of the best known names in literature and media to Sheffield each year. The festival programme is wide ranging and offers over 200 events for all ages.

To celebrate our long standing support of the Off the Shelf festival we will be giving away tickets to our sponsored events over the next few editions of eview leading up to the festival’s close. For this edition we have tickets available for the following:

John Godber, Helen Cross and Peter Samson – Tuesday 20 Oct, 7pm at the Pennine Theatre (1 pair of tickets)
An entertaining evening with a trio of acclaimed writers as they talk about their relationship with the North and how it has shaped their lives and writing.

Polly Toynbee and David Walker – Thursday 22 October, 7pm at the Pennine Theatre (2 pairs of tickets)
The authors of Unjust Rewards argue that fair taxation on incomes and property in exchange for decent public services in incontrovertible, putting the case that bankers and fat cats should pay more.

Will Hutton “How Good We Can Be” – Thursday 29 October, 7pm at the Pennine Theatre (1 pair of tickets)
Political economist, writer, broadcaster and Guardian columnist Will Hutton examines how Britain could create an economy, society and democracy in which the mass of citizens flourish.

To be in with a chance of winning email your contact details and the tickets you would like to win to eview@shu.ac.uk by the closing date of Friday 16 October. The first name drawn from all the entries will be the winner and notified on the closing date. Good luck!
