This SHUWellness course is set out over 10 weeks. The course comprises of 5 bi-weekly sessions, which last 1 hour each and have been designed to give a complete overview of how to manage your weight effectively. The sessions will include information on heart health, nutrition, exercising effectively and barrier management, with optional weigh-ins in order to assess progress.
Individuals should have a Body Mass Index (BMI) above 25 in order to take part on this course. For adults, BMI is a measure of whether you’re a healthy weight for your height and can be checked using the NHS BMI calculator.
This course requires attendance on the following 5 Tuesdays, from 12.15pm to 1.15pm;
