Did you know that your SHUcard can be used to pay for goods and services on campus?
As well as meaning you don’t need to carry cash, paying with your SHUcard is rewarding, too; you’ll earn loyalty points every time you top up with increments of £25 and earn 5 loyalty points (worth 5p) for every £1 spent in our catering outlets. Just like with other loyalty point schemes, you can use your points instead of your cashless card balance to pay for goods and services once you’ve accrued enough.
There are other benefits available to all staff and students who hold a SHUcard and use it to make cashless purchases:
• Exclusive savings on hot drinks and meal deals in all catering outlets at all times.
• Regular promotions exclusive to SHUcard cashless users, such as £1 Wednesdays in catering outlets where everything is £1.
• Exclusive offers at the Print Shop.
• A safe payment scheme that can be blocked or refunded at any time.

• Up to 10% off Blackwell’s products when purchased using a SHUcard.
Once you’ve registered and topped up, you can pay using your SHUcard right across campus, at:

• Learning centre (to pay fines)

• Students’ Union (except alcohol)
• Sports Park (except alcohol)
• Resource rooms (now SHUcard only payment method)
• Merchandise shop (in accommodation office)
