Why not start off the new academic by learning a new skill for yourself? These workshops are run by Liz Doherty of Meadowsweet Flowers based in Millhouses (Sheffield S7). The groups are small, so you get lots of attention and the emphasis is on having a great time as well as making something lovely to take home.
Saturday 26 September, 10am – 12.30pm Gorgeous Hand-tied Bouquet.
We will start practising hand-tying by making a posy in a jam jar, then go on to make a large bouquet which will be presented in a vintage-inspired Heron Cross jug.
There are just two places left for this workshop!
Thursday 15 October, 6 – 8.30pm: Grouped Bouquet.
Learn to make a spectacular bouquet with groupings of flowers. We will make an aqua pack with cellophane to keep the flowers fresh (invaluable if the bouquet is a gift) and present it in a Meadowsweet gift bag.
The usual cost is £50 but this is reduced to £45 for readers of eview. The price includes all flowers, containers and use of equipment. I also provide tea/coffee, biscuits and a celebratory glass of wine at the end!
