Feedback following the Red Weeks in January and April demonstrated that the majority of respondents were enthusiastic about the concept of Red Week, and even where unavoidable commitments prevented participation, the reduced meeting load and email traffic were still seen as beneficial.
Following this feedback and in order to enable more staff to participate in future Red Weeks, the Executive has determined that these weeks will be held at individual Faculty level to better account for Faculty timetables, teaching and marking periods.
The University-wide Red Week planned for 7-11 September will still go ahead in SBS, HWB and some departments within D&S. ACES will hold their Red Week from 14 September.
A further breakdown on planned dates is available but please look out for local Red Week communications in your faculty.
