Launched on Tuesday 14 July, this new receipting feature automatically generates an email receipt when students submit an assignment online via a Blackboard Assignment. For group assignments, all members of the group will receive an email confirming the submission.
It will reduce the anxiety often experienced by students due to the lack of confirmation that their work has been received. It will also help reduce the volume of student queries directed to both academic and administrative staff requesting this confirmation. Staff can access copies of the receipts issued from the Content Collection of the Blackboard site in which the student made the submission.
