SHU WAY is the modern unified communications system which the University is using to replace its current phone system (which will soon become obsolete). The new system is more than a simple substitute for the phones though, it’s a whole new way of connecting. It integrates voice calls, instant message, video call, voice message and email along with WebEx video conferencing and collaboration tools on different types of device to offer choice and flexibility about how, when and where you communicate. It’s already being used in some areas of the University and will be rolled out across campus in 2015 and 2016.
