The HESA return is a statutory return, and its data is used by a number of external organisations, including the ones who compile University League tables.
An e-mail has been sent to all staff asking them to check, and if necessary update, their personal information. This process will only take a couple of minutes to complete. The data that is supplied to HESA is fully anonymised.
