Debate: “This house believes that positive action is not enough to challenge social norms and encourage women into engineering.”
There is no doubt that to meet the future needs of the country and continue to compete internationally, the UK must incorporate more women into the Engineering sector from the rich resource pool the UK has.
This educational debate, chaired and debated by industry professionals from across the sector, will explore the reasons why so few women are working in engineering and discuss what more needs to be done.
