Turning Point voting software is available to everyone in the University who wants to incorporate interactive and online responses into their teaching or other work.
Users can vote using voting pads provided by SHU, and can also vote through their own mobile devices using ResponseWare. Once staff have registered as ResponseWare presenters via IT help, they can receive online responses from participants via the browser on any Internet-connected device, or through the free ResponseWare app (available for iOS and Android). This allows students or staff to use their own mobile devices to vote in lecture theatres or from anywhere – on or off campus.
Participants don’t need to register, only the person running a session does. To do so, contact IT help ithelp@shu.ac.uk or x3333.
Visit the IS&T blog for more information about how you can use Turning Point and ResponseWare.
