The University Executive has agreed to two further Red Weeks this year:
13 – 17 April 2015 and 7 – 11 September 2015
Red Weeks are intended to enable academic staff to block out as much time as they can to engage in long-term work such as research, scholarship, development of a new module or programme, or an intervention to improve the student experience in addition to the time dedicated to these practices in the usual run of business.
Academic staff will still be expected to conduct essential activity such as timetabled teaching, marking, student contact and responding to urgent and necessary emails. For more information please go to: https://staff.shu.ac.uk/redweek2015.asp
