The Change Management and Continuous Improvement (CMCI) Community of Practice group aims to provide its members with support, guidance, tools and techniques to manage change and deliver continuous improvement.
The next meeting will be held on: Wednesday 15 April, 1.30 – 4pm in Owen, 1036
The group will meet quarterly to focus on a variety of topics including:
- Understanding customer needs
- Increasing value
- Improving systems and processes
- Identifying and fixing the root cause of problems
- Learning from mistakes
The first meeting of the CMCI Community of Practice group will be co-ordinated by Business Improvement Services and aims to lay the foundation for future meetings. Initially the group will focus on the specific theme of continuous improvement and is open to professional services and academic staff at all levels who are interested in sharing expertise, seeking advice, discussing developments and working together to solve common problems.
Future meetings will be shaped by group’s needs and interests around the theme of CMCI.
Event objectives:
- To provide an opportunity for networking with colleagues
- To understand the approach to continuous improvement
- To understand the ‘voice of the customer’ tool
- To set the scene for future CMCI community of practice meetings
