IS&T is currently testing Application Jukebox on a number of computers in the Norfolk building including to see if it could help with software distribution at SHU.
This product could help us speed up the distribution of software at the University, improve the performance of our computers and give users access to more applications by allowing them to use software without actually installing it to their PC.
IS&T will evaluate how Application Jukebox has performed towards the end of March and could use it to distribute software for the start of teaching next academic year.
