Yesterday (9 February) there was an email phishing attempt which targeted many University staff and students. Some people clicked on a link in the message which then asked for details. IS&T has now blocked all internal access to the site linked to in the email but please remember you should not follow links or open attachments in messages you are not expecting or that seem out of the ordinary.
If you inadvertently provide your details, you should:
- Immediately change your password. Guidelines for this are at http://go.shu.ac.uk/password
- Follow this advice for dealing with suspicious emails on the IS&T staff intranet pages.
