Blow away the cobwebs and sign up for a Spring flower arranging workshop using gorgeous fresh flowers grown in Cornwall. The emphasis is on having a great time as well as making something lovely to take home.
Saturday 14 March, 10am-12.30pm: Welcome to Spring
Bouquet made up of groupings of English flowers and presented in a pretty 2-pint Heron Cross jug. This is great value as the jug usually retails for £20.
Thursday 2 April, 6-8.30pm: Easter flowers
An arrangement of freshly cut spring flowers.
Thursday 30 April, 6-8.30pm: Decorated Jam Jars
Three pretty arrangements made in up-cycled jam jars using hand-tying. The jam jars will be decorated with vintage paper.
Saturday 9 May, 10am-12.30pm: Vintage flowers
Three arrangements using different construction methods (chicken wire, hand-tying and a taped lattice) displayed in vintage containers.
The workshops are small (just 3-5 people) and take place at my home in Millhouses. You don’t need previous experience and everything is provided – flowers, containers, sundries and equipment. The usual cost of the workshops is £50, but I am offering them to members of SHU at a special rate of £45.
