Friends of Edward Carpenter – LGBT Voice and Influence events

We are excited to present a programme of events to celebrate LGBT History Month at the Millennium Gallery on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 February.

The programme is entitled LGBT Voice and Influence and includes a free screening of the film Pride and a discussion afterwards with Mike Jackson, co-founder of the Lesbian and Gays Support the Miners group depicted in the film.

The full programme is available at: www.friendsofedwardcarpenter.co.uk/LGBTVoiceandInfluence.pdf

The Friends of Edward Carpenter are a small group of people who are dedicated to establishing a permanent memorial to Edward Carpenter in Sheffield City Centre, recognising his historical and social importance and unique association with the city.
These events are presented with support from a range of organisations, including Sheffield Hallam University, and SIGNAL, the University’s staff LGBT Network group.
