In the next few weeks the Finance Directorate will be talking to staff about upcoming changes to the travel booking process. These changes will affect all staff that book travel and accommodation both in the UK and abroad.
The following services will no longer be provided by Finance with effect from 17 November 2014, from this date it will be your responsibility to liaise directly with the relevant provider:
- Booking of field trips
- Booking of taxis
- Booking of hire cars
- Booking of coaches / minibuses
The Finance intranet will be updated with new guidance on the processes above and you are advised to familiarise yourself with the relevant detail before committing any bookings.
If you do not have access to the e5 Purchasing and Authorisation portal (to raise a purchase order requisition) you may need to attend one of our upcoming training sessions. The dates, times and booking process are available on the Finance intranet homepage.
