The four candidates for the post of South Yorkshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner will take part in a live debate on Wednesday 22 October at 7.30pm in the Pennine Theatre at City Campus.
Sheffield Hallam is hosting the event for the Sheffield Star and Telegraph newspapers who have invited the candidates to face the public and persuade people why they should be elected to the recently vacated post.
The four vying for the public vote which takes place on 30 October are: David Allen, English Democrats; The Rev Dr Alan Billings, Labour; Jack Clarkson, UKIP; Ian Walker, Conservative.
Star editor James Mitchinson will chair the panel.
