Competition 2 – Dylan Thomas

Two people will win a pair of tickets to a day-long celebration of the work of poet Dylan Thomas on Saturday 1 November as part of the city’s festival of words, Off The Shelf.

There are four parts to the event starting at 11am in the HUBs at Sheffield Hallam with Thomas expert John Goodby reading from his collected poems; a screening of Under Milk Wood at 1.30pm at the Showroom followed by a Q and A with director Andrew Sinclair; a symposium of Thomas’ work with Charles Mundye, John Goodby and Sheffield Hallam’s own Prof Chris Wiggington in the HUBs at 4.30pm; Readings by National Poet of Wales Gillian Clarke at 6.30pm in the Upper Chapel, Norfolk Street.
