At the 2014 November graduation ceremonies the University will award eight honorary doctorates – details of those awardees will be made public through September and October on the University’s external website.
Now is the time to nominate interesting and deserving people for the awards to be made in 2015. Nominations (from individuals, or from groups within directorates or faculties) should be sent by to Maura Sorensen, preferably by email to m.sorensen@shu.ac.uk or you can send your nomination by internal post to Maura Sorensen, Committee Support Officer, University Secretariat, Floor 2 Oneleven Building, City Campus. The closing date for nominations for 2015 is Friday 7 November 2014
Nominations will be considered for shortlisting by the Honorary Awards Committee at their first meeting in early December.
