Sheffield Hallam University is prepared for another exceptionally busy confirmation and clearing period.
As one of the country’s most popular universities in the UK in terms of applications, a number of places expect to be available in clearing, on a range of courses including sport, psychology and business.
Up to date lists of courses with places available will be published on the Sheffield Hallam website: www.shu.ac.uk/clearing on the morning of Thursday 14 August.
We encourage students interested in studying with us to check the website and then to call us to discuss their options on the University’s dedicated clearing hotline: 0300 555 0567 from 7am-7pm from 14 August.
Last year, almost 17,000 calls were made to the hotline on A-level results day alone. Places filled up very quickly and we expect to be similarly busy this year.
Clearing applicants will be invited to visit the University to meet staff and students at a clearing open day on Tuesday 19 August. Bookings can be made at: www.shu.ac.uk/clearing/visit-us.
The University has lots of useful information on clearing on its website, including FAQs, a checklist, stories from current students who secured their places through clearing, and details of drop-in services, where interested students can come in and talk to admissions staff: www.shu.ac.uk/clearing.
