Ten students from Sheffield Hallam are celebrating after they were selected to represent the home nations in the Commonwealth Games.
The group of students will represent Wales and England in a number of sports, including athletics, swimming, hockey, table tennis and weightlifting. All of them regularly represent Sheffield Hallam in the British Universities and Colleges Sports league, and compete in the annual Sheffield Varsity competition between the city’s two universities.

The Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games begin on 23 July.
