This Saturday is the FD Fun Day at the SHU Sports Park, which is open to all University staff and their family and friends. The event celebrates 20 Years of the Facilities Directorate and proceeds will support our chosen charities, the NSPCC and Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity.
Tickets: Tickets are available to buy from Owen Main Reception, 36 College House reception, and will be available from the SHU Sports Park on the day. Tickets are £1 each for our charities and under 12s go free! Your ticket also enters you into our free raffle draw.
A number of activities and events will be available on the day including a charity football match, an inflatable assault course, and giant lawn games. There will be hot food including an outdoor barbecue on the day and of course, a beer tent.
Travel: A shuttle bus Park and Ride service will be available on the day and staff can park in the Science Park car park free of charge on a first come, first served basis. A 50-seater shuttle bus will run return journeys from the nearby Arundel Gate lay-by to the SHU Sports Park. Seats can be booked through the Events team at eventservices@shu.ac.uk.
