The Facilities Directorate will be running an audit of cleaning spaces throughout June and July to evaluate all spaces currently cleaned by FD staff across both campuses.
The domestic Audit will be benchmarked in accordance with the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICS) industry standards. The standards are a starting point and the combined experience of FD Domestic Supervisors, domestic staff, good judgement, visual inspections and a consideration of local circumstances will all be used to form a full view. The audit is planned to evaluate the current services provided by the domestic teams and help to make sure that areas are staffed correctly, for the benefit of both customer and staff.
