“Recording Britain Now” exhibition launch

The 2014 John Ruskin Prize winner announcement & exhibition launch
Friday 27 June, 5.30-8pm, Millennium Gallery

Museums Sheffield is delighted to host a new exhibition of work by artists shortlisted for the 2014 John Ruskin Prize. Recording Britain Now sees established and emerging artists present fresh, contemporary visions of their urban, rural or social environment.

Founded by the Guild of St George in partnership with The Campaign for Drawing, the annual John Ruskin Prize invites submissions from artists working in drawing, painting, watercolour, print and mixed-media. Join us as we announce the winner of the 2014 prize, which takes its theme from the major V&A exhibition Recording Britain, also on show at the Millennium Gallery.

RSVPs to Chris Harvey, 0114 278 2664 or email chris.harvey@museums-sheffield.org.uk
