Sheffield United Junior Cricket Club is based at The Sheffield Hallam University Sports Park on Bawtry Road. We run teams in all age groups in the Ben Jessop Sheffield and District Junior League and are currently seeking new players to join our Under 9s group.
To be eligible to play Under 9s cricket this season, the boys or girls must be under 9 on 31 August 2013. Training sessions before the season will be held on Friday evenings 6-8pm at Bawtry Road under the direction of our ECB qualified coaches.
Under 9s cricket matches are played in mixed teams using soft “wind” balls in a Kwik Cricket format on Sunday afternoons during June/July with each afternoon comprising a “mini-tournament”. Participation is key and every player gets a bat and a bowl.
