Continuing Professional Development events

The CPD Programme is designed to provide academic and learning support staff with practical development opportunities that address personal, professional and institutional priorities. It targets the needs of staff with different levels of experience in teaching in higher education and is structured around themes prioritised by faculty and departmental LTA networks.   Forthcoming CPD events include:

Introduction to Google Apps
Tuesday 29 April, 12 – 1pm, Owen 332 City Campus
This hands-on workshop introduces you to using Google apps to interact more with your students and improve efficiency, and it enables you to explore how you might use Google productivity apps for collaborative work. Visit our website to book and for three more dates in May.

Use of Social Media in LTA
Thursday 1 May, 9.30 – 10.45am and 11.15am – 12.30pm, Hallam Hall City Campus

Teaching Excellence in HE
