Students as co-creators of learning and teaching: theoretical and practical considerations

Thursday 3rd April 4.30 – 6pm  Stoddart Building 7507
with Catherine Bovill, Academic Development Unit, University of Glasgow

There has been a surge of interest in students and staff collaborating to design learning and teaching. This seminar will explore the concept of students as co-creators through a range of key theoretical considerations, including: the different roles students can adopt; the different levels of  student participation that are possible, which students are included and whether students are rewarded.

Practical issues will also be explored, including real examples of students and staff co-creating learning and teaching from different disciplinary and international contexts and practical guidance for adopting a co-creation approach.
