On 9-10 April, Print Services will be trialling a hybrid mail and envelope fulfilling machine to evaluate whether there is need within the university for such equipment.
The machine will reduce postage and labour costs as the printing of letters will be done in batches to obtain the cheapest postage rates, together with an automatic inserter that will fold and insert letters and other documents into envelopes.
The software can account for every letter produced and provide accurate reports to prove they have been mailed ensuring confidentiality and full compliance.
For further information and to arrange a test run of the machine to see if it would help in your Faculty or Directorate please contact Paul Bishop at p.bishop@shu.ac.uk or on ext. 4541
