On Monday 7 April, the programme for the access changeover will begin and new SHUcards will be issued to all staff.
The encoding on cards issued between September 2013 – 17 March 2014 was found to be incorrect, an issue which has now been rectified and a reprint of the cards is required for access. This issue does not affect how students use their SHUcards.
Staff can replace their cards from Monday 24 March at Owen Main Reception at City Campus. New cards will also be issued at Hallamshire Business Park from 21 March and 36 Collegiate Crescent, Collegiate Campus from 28 March.
We ask that staff exchange the card they were previously issued for the new one so they can be recycled as part of our sustainability initiative ‘Do the Right Thing’.
