Dig out your Sheffield Hallam University hoody as Varsity is back and our teams need your support! 2013 saw the University of Sheffield take the Varsity trophy home for the first time in ten years and so Varsity 2014 will be bigger and better than ever as Sheffield Hallam strive to win the trophy back.
Varsity is an annual sporting competition between Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Sheffield. Varsity is one of the biggest annual events on the Sheffield Hallam University calendar and is the one competition that ALL HALLAM alumni, students and staff can get involved in, whether you’re playing or supporting; it’s a chance to get behind your University.
So come along to the highlight events, listed below, and show your support for the Sheffield Hallam Varsity 2014 teams.
- Boxing at the Octagon – 15 March, 7pm – tickets £6
- Football & Opening Ceremony at Hillsborough Stadium* – 20 March, 11.30am – tickets £5
- Ice Hockey – The Varsity Finals at the Motorpoint Arena – 2 April, 7pm – tickets £5
* Bring your families along to this family friendly event, which includes; two games of football, performances by a range of student societies, a flag parade celebrating the nations of the student players, face painting, a cheerleading display and a children’s chill out zone. Children go free.
