In line with the University’s long-term maintenance strategy we will be replacing high level lighting in the Owen main reception at city campus. This essential maintenance is also consistent with our commitment to sustainability and will provide better and more efficient LED lighting.
The work will take place for two weeks from Monday 17 February between 6pm and 6am each day. While the contractor is on site the ramp in the Owen main entrance will be closed off for Health and Safety reasons. However, wheelchair users or anyone unable to use the stairs adjacent to the reception will still be able to access the ramp. You will need to speak to the contractor when you approach the ramp, they will pause the works, open the barrier and ensure you get across the ramp safely.
