A week of events celebrating the talent and diversity of our students and staff 3–9 March.

This year there are 35 events, including the following
- The Wine and Wisdom Quiz – a quiz for teams of up to 4 people with 10 themed rounds. Entry is £5 and all money raised will be donated to the Weston Park Cancer Hospital. It is important you register your team by emailing internationalsupport@shu.ac.uk
- Blown-fuse – close up magic illusions at Collegiate Crescent by staff member Edward Winter. Prepare to be amazed!
- Craft workshops – knitting and decopatch – fun workshops where you can make things to take away organised by staff members Helen Paskins and Rachel Cotton.
- Ballroom and Latin dance – by experienced dancers, including staff member Fides Matzdorf, that have won awards at various competitions.
- Jessica Widdowson – a student who has performed in many venues including London’s West End.
- Cake decorating demonstration – by staff member Christine Pitter, with the chance to sample some of the cakes
- Swati Prasad – a student who will be performing a classical Indian dance.
- The Cocklebread band – a light-hearted romp through world folk, blues, gospel, country and bluegrass. The band includes staff members Sonia Palmer, Errol Francis and Jim Darnill.
We hope to see you at the events, there are limited places available for the craft/cake decorating workshops and the Wine and Wisdom quiz, so please do sign up early if you are interested.
