There has been an issue with some staff printers and MFDs. Most staff now have access to a working printer but there is a continuing issue with some multi-function devices (MFDs). While a number that have been affected are now working normally, others will only allow basic printing. This means you may not be able to log in (either manually or with a staff card) to collect your printing or to use the copier or scanner.
Other copying/scanning facilities
For those affected, it is possible to use other copiers and scanners around the University, including the student MFDs. You will need to use your staff card or log in details and the copying will be charged to your department. If you have a large amount of copying to do, please consider sending the job to Print Services so that you do not tie up student printing facilities. Print Services can usually complete the job on the day it is sent to them.
IS&T is working with our suppliers to resolve the remaining problems and has a list of affected MFDs. If you discover a new problem with logging in to your MFD, please contact IT help on x 3333. Sorry for any inconvenience. Please check the staff intranet home page for updates.
