The second LPRG Postgraduate Politeness conference will be taking place at
Sheffield Hallam University on Thursday 13 March.
Keynote Speakers include; Karen Grainger and Jodie Clark from Hallam University and Christine Christie from Loughborough University.
The conference will provide a platform for postgraduate and early-career researchers to present and discuss their research in the field of Linguistic Politeness. Researchers will also have opportunity to to build and strengthen their research networks by engaging with a wider audience of both newer and more established academics.
If you would like to present your paper, please send a short abstract (500 words max) to Isabelle van der Bom: dsiv@exchange.shu.ac.uk. The deadline for abstracts is Friday 31 January.
The conference is free but places are limited, so registration is required. To register, please email Isabelle van der Bom at dsiv@exchange.shu.ac.uk. Refreshments are not provided however you are welcome to bring your own food and refreshments are available to buy in the conference building.
