Elections for the University Information and Consultation Committee

Staff will soon be invited to nominate themselves to join the University’s Information and Consultation Committee.

The ICC provides an opportunity for managers, trade union representatives and elected staff representatives to discuss university wide issues such as financial performance, the business strategy, employment matters and the working environment.

Each member will represent staff in one of four areas of the university – administrative; technical; support (manual); and teaching and research.

The term of office will start in the Spring of 2014 and is for two years.  Nominations for all four positions will open later this month, with elections scheduled to take place early in the new year.

More information and specific timescales will be circulated to all staff soon.  For further information contact Beth Asquith on extension 3959 or visit the Working Together intranet site at https://staff.shu.ac.uk/workingtogether
