Lord Hattersley has spoken of his pride at returning to Sheffield Hallam University to talk about his latest book The Devonshires, as part of this year’s Off The Shelf Festival.
Nether Edge born, and raised in Wadsley, Roy Hattersley said it was a proud moment to return to the city where his parents were both on the city council.
His father was one of the first governors of the old Sheffield City Polytechnic.
