Every academic is required to complete a survey of their activities during three weeks of each academic year.
The data gathered from the survey forms the basis of an important larger compulsory reporting process (called TRAC) that every University completes for HEFCE. This report gives a detailed breakdown of how government funding for teaching and research has been used.
All new Time Allocation Survey users will be invited by email to attend a session which aims to:
- Explain what the Survey is
- Explain how the TAS results are used
- Show how to access and complete the survey
- Learn what the different categories mean
- Find out where to get help
- Answer any questions
The sessions in October are:
