Key Information Sets published tomorrow

Key Information Sets

Thursday 19 September sees the official release of the 2013 Key Information Sets (KIS) for all institutions.  Key Information Sets are comparable sets of standardised information about undergraduate courses designed to meet the information needs of prospective students and are published ‘in-context’ on the web-sites of universities and colleges as well as via the Unistats website. KIS contains information about institutions, as well as about courses, including: course satisfaction; learning, teaching and assessment; accreditation information and employment and salary data.

Sheffield Hallam submitted a KIS for 184 courses expected to recruit in 2014-15.  You can view the KIS data and make comparisons with courses at other institutions from tomorrow on the Unistats web-site.  Information about the KIS for Sheffield Hallam can be found at on the KIS intranet site, but if you have any queries about the KIS, how it works or its impact on your course area, please email kis@shu.ac.uk
