Free travel pass for switching to the bus!

Busboost is a partnership between the University and the South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive gives car users the opportunity to try public transport for free for 28 days. By trying it out, you’ll see how simple and convenient it is to travel to work by bus, tram and train. It’s a great opportunity to leave your car at home and experience the benefits first hand:

  • Free travel for up to 28 days on bus, tram and train within South Yorkshire
  • Save money on fuel and parking costs
  • Reduce emissions and energy use in your local community
  • Be healthier
  • Keep up-to-date with journey information and access to online tools

Who can apply?

Only Employees of the University can apply and only if you; currently commute regularly to work by car as a driver or passenger, would like to try using the bus, tram or train to get to work for 28 days and agree to give feedback at the end of the trial.
