Inviting you to Move More this summer

31 July

This summer we’re inviting you to Move More and help create a culture of physical activity in Sheffield. Visit www.movemoresheffield.com to find out what is going on and how you can get involved. This is part of the National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine (NCSEM) Olympic legacy project in Sheffield, which the University is a key partner in.

We’re inviting everyone in Sheffield to join in by simply Moving More between 27 July and 10 August. Move More and you’ll feel better, look better, work better and play better and potentially save money. You decide the what, where, when and how and you determine why – it’s your choice. Do something fun, do something new, do something on the way to work, do something with the family, do something with friends, do something for you…you get the idea.

If you fancy doing something with other people to Move More, at an organised event or local venue, then why not try one of the all-inclusive Parkrun events on 3 August or one of the hundreds of other events taking place across the city – see the website above for more details or for ideas about how to Move More at work click here. Whatever you decide to do make sure you’re part of this unique event.

The focus of the events is Saturday 3 August when three specially-arranged FREE events will be taking place:
