IS&T has launched a new URL shortening service allowing you use a short URL (web link) which will automatically redirect to a long URL in a similar way to TinyURL or bitly.
For example:
https://students.shu.ac.uk/shuspacecontent/it/cant-login

This is useful for sharing really long URLs, if you need to provide a memorable URL or if you need a URL for printed media.
