Sheffield Hallam University is one of just 16 UK higher education institutions set to benefit from a £50 million investment in research projects designed to drive economic growth.
Speaking at this week’s Higher Education Policy Institute Conference, Universities minister David Willetts specifically mentioned the University’s bid for money from HEFCE’s catalyst fund for a new National Centre of Excellence for food engineering.
