Following initial validation of a new course, all courses are subject to annual and periodic review. The need to make changes to the curriculum may arise from time to time through the ongoing review, management and enhancement of the provision. Modifications normally arise as a result of annual course review and feedback, course team meetings, student feedback (course of module level), external examiner or professional body input, assessment board recommendations or from other aspects of regular, ongoing monitoring and review processes. Modifications made during the lifecycle of a course do not alter a course’s original approval status or ‘reset’ the date of next review, as these are determined at validation and through the Periodic Review process.
