Apple released the latest version of its operating system, OSX 10.10 Yosemite, as a free upgrade on 16 October.  In the past there have been some issues with using new versions of OS X on the University’s network so IS&T is currently testing Yosemite to see if there are any issues or problems with it working here.  While we do that, we recommend that you do not update your Mac. We expect to be able give staff a preliminary assessment of any problems this testing has identified by the end of this week.
