Would you like to learn how to swim? Or perhaps you’d like to boost your fitness by getting a little extra pool time?
Our Level 4 BSc (hons) Sport Coaching students are about to embark on five weeks of aquatics coaching at Ponds Forge with Pippa Jones (open water swimmer and illustrious BUCs champion water polo coach).
If you’d like to attend and improve your swimming ability, please come along to Ponds Forge on a week-by-week basis. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a novice or budding Olympian – there’ll be plenty of time for coaching and fun. You can confirm your place by contacting Pippa on hwbpj@exchange.shu.ac.uk
The sessions will be taking place in the competition pool, and staff will need to show their SHUcard on arrival. Our friendly and positive students will be coaching attendees under Pippa’s expert guidance.

Aquatics sessions begin this Friday (8th November). The session start times are 9am / 11am / 1pm, with each session lasting approximately 90 minutes.
Parking at Ponds Forge is £2 and includes a café voucher.
