The Transforming Lives sessions give all staff the opportunity to hear updates directly from the project leads on strategy implementation. There will also be the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

June 2019 – Building Stronger Communities and the Hallam Academic Programme

June’s Transforming Lives Strategy Update session will showcase the work the University is doing to ‘build stronger communities‘ as well as promote the development opportunities for staff via the Hallam Academic Programme. These sessions give all staff the opportunity to hear updates directly from the project leads on strategy implementation. There will also be the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

Wednesday 19 June (1.00pm – 2.00pm), Coll Hall-A021, Collegiate (Collegiate campus)

SPEAKERS:

Greg Burke (Director of South Yorkshire Futures) – Building stronger communities is one of our three research platforms and a key, external message for the University. Greg will talk about the work that has been done so far in this area including the South Yorkshire Futures project.
Dr Iain Garner (Head of Department at Sheffield Institute of Education) – Iain will discuss the staff development opportunities available as part of the Hallam Academic Programme which has been designed to provide development opportunities in research, teaching and professional & business engagement.

We plan to share video footage and slides following the sessions; these will be available on the Strategy page as quickly as possible.
