I am delighted to inform you that there have been a number of new appointments made within the faculty.

Paula Procter from the Department of Nursing and Midwifery has been awarded the title of ‘Professor of Nursing Informatics’ by the Professoriate Committee.  This is of course an incredible achievement and testament to Paula’s leading work in the field.  You can hear more about Paula’s work at her upcoming professorial lecture. Further information will be posted on the blog in due course.

Jo Benn has been seconded to work at the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) looking at international standards.

Susan Wakefield has been appointed to the role of Interim Head of Department for Nursing and Midwifery.

Dr Jo Lidster and Dr Rachael Spencer have been appointed as Deputy Heads of Department for Nursing and Midwifery. Jo has been appointed into the Postgraduate role and Rachael into the Pre-Registration post.
