The University is holding a SHU Sustainability Fair on 7th June from 10am to 2pm in the Owen main entrance. The event celebrates todays World Environment Day. The theme for 2018, “Beat Plastic Pollution”, is a call to action for all of us to come together to combat one of the great environmental challenges of our time.

There will be various stalls showcasing our external suppliers that help reduce our environmental targets. You can find out more about what the University is doing to cut back on its plastic consumption and receive advice on how to reduce your own plastic usage on a daily basis. Visitors will be able to pick up some freebies too!
